Costa Rica – A green gem between the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean –
Costa Rica is one of the most diverse countries on earth. It connects the North American with the South American land mass, both with their unique flora and fauna, which were separated in the past. An amazing variety of habitats, from tropical dry forest to humid rainforests, mountain ranges and a big number of volcanos, along with a Pacific and a Caribbean coastline, all make like little facets their contribution to the vast biodiversity. In this beautiful country I was able to spend two semesters to study biology and by that discovered my deep passion for wildlife photography. The land of “pura vida”, an attitude to life we all could take to heart a bit.
